Privacy Policy

Labahan - Laundry Shop Manager ("Labahan", "we", "us") is operated by Baryotech Solutions OPC, a one person corporation registered with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC Reg. No. 2026010231482-01). Labahan is a web app at labahan.com that laundry shops use to record loads, payments and customers, and that lets their customers check the status of their laundry. This policy explains what information we handle and how. We follow the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
Who this covers
- Shop owners and staff who create an account and use the app.
- Laundry customers of those shops, whose details a shop enters, and who open a tracking link or QR code.
For customer details entered by a shop, the shop decides what to record and why. Labahan stores and processes that information on the shop's behalf.
What we collect
- Account details: the owner's email address and password (stored only in hashed form). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We do not receive your Google password.
- Shop details: shop name, address, phone, opening hours, prices, staff names and their PINs (stored in hashed form).
- Shop records: loads, claim stub numbers, services, photos of the laundry a shop takes at drop-off, amounts paid and owed, supplies, expenses and similar records the shop enters.
- Customer details entered by a shop: usually a name and mobile number, and their laundry history with that shop.
- Pickup and delivery addresses: if a customer books a pickup or delivery, the address they type and, only if they tap "Use my current location", a map pin of that spot. These are shared only with that shop and its riders so they can find the customer. To suggest addresses while typing, the text typed in the address box is sent to an OpenStreetMap search service (Photon by Komoot).
- Notification subscriptions: if a customer allows notifications, their browser gives us a technical address used only to send "your laundry is ready" messages.
- Subscription payments: handled by our payment provider PayMongo, which saves your card or Maya account for auto-renew. Card details you type in Plan & billing go straight from your device to PayMongo. We receive the payment status, amount, reference and renewal date, and we keep the card brand and last 4 digits (for example "Visa ••4242") so you can see which card is used. We never receive or store full card numbers, security codes or e-wallet passwords.
- Technical data: basic logs (such as time, browser type and errors) needed to keep the service secure and working.
How we use it
- To provide the app: show the board, print stubs, compute totals, and let customers track their laundry.
- To send notifications a customer has asked for.
- To manage subscriptions, trials and billing.
- To email shop owners about their account: receipts, trial and renewal reminders, monthly shop reports and help getting started. You can turn off reports and help emails anytime with the link in each email. Account and billing emails continue while you have an account.
- If you agree (an unticked box at sign-up, or Settings), to send tips, product news and offers. You can unsubscribe anytime with one tap.
- To measure our own ads on Facebook and Instagram (see "Cookies and storage" below).
- To count visits to our website and see which pages are used (see "Cookies and storage" below).
- To give support. Our support team can only open a shop's settings when the owner approves it, for a limited time, and never sees customers, loads or money records. Every change made during support is shown to the owner.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use shop or customer data for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run Labahan: Supabase (database, sign-in and photo storage), YouTube (the how-to videos the lessons link to, when you open one), Anthropic (answers the questions asked in Magtanong and reads price-list photos, in the United States), Netlify (website hosting), Resend (account, alert and owner emails, in the United States), Meta (measuring our ads, see below), Google (sign-in with Google, if you choose it, and Google Analytics for website visits) and PayMongo (subscription payments). They process data only to provide their services to us. Some of these providers store data on servers outside the Philippines, with safeguards in place. If a shop signs up from a Labahan partner's link (for example its machine or supply seller), that partner sees the shop's name, join date and plan, and nothing else about the shop. We may also disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep a shop's data while its account is active. The owner can delete the account and all of the shop's data at any time in the app (Owner → Delete my account), which takes effect right away, or ask us on our account deletion page, and we delete it within 7 days of confirming the request. We keep only the records we must keep by law (such as what the shop paid Labahan).
Sign-in codes. Each time a sign-in code is asked for, we keep the mobile number, the network (IP) address, the time and the result (sent or refused) for 30 days to stop abuse, then delete it. The sign-in page may also use Cloudflare Turnstile, a security check from Cloudflare, to tell people from automated programs; Cloudflare looks at basic information about your browser and connection, and we receive only whether the check passed.
Magtanong and I-report. Questions asked in Magtanong (Ask Labahan) are kept for 90 days so we can improve the answers, then deleted. Long runs of numbers, such as mobile numbers, are masked before a question is saved. A report sent with I-report, with the error details from that phone, is kept until the problem is fixed, then deleted 90 days after it was marked fixed.
Price list from photos. Photos of a shop's price list, taken to fill in its services and prices, are sent to Anthropic's AI to be read and are not kept: Labahan never saves the photos. Only the services and prices the owner checks and saves are kept.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Each shop can only see its own records, which is enforced in the database itself. Passwords and PINs are stored in hashed form.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how it is used. Laundry customers can also ask the shop directly, since the shop controls their records. To make a request, email us at the address below. You may also file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
Cookies and storage
Labahan uses your browser's storage to keep you signed in and remember settings on your device.
Ad measurement (Meta Pixel). To know which of our Facebook and Instagram ads bring new shops, our welcome and sign-up pages use the Meta Pixel, which sets Meta cookies in your browser. When a shop owner creates a shop, saves their first load, opens checkout or pays for a plan, we also tell Meta that this happened, with the owner's email address and mobile number in scrambled (hashed) form so Meta can match it to an ad click. We never send shop records, amounts other than the plan price, or anything about laundry customers. The Pixel never runs on customer tracking, booking or counter QR pages. You can control ad tracking in your Facebook settings under "Ad preferences", or block cookies in your browser.
Website visits (Google Analytics and our own counter). To see how many people visit Labahan and where they came from, our website and the shop app use Google Analytics, which sets Google cookies in your browser, and our own simple visit counter, which keeps a random id on your device. We only record which screen was opened (for example "Board" or "Welcome page"), the day, and the site that sent you (such as Facebook or Google). We never send names, mobile numbers, tracking codes, laundry details or amounts. Google Analytics never runs on customer tracking, find-my-laundry or booking pages. You can block cookies in your browser, or use Google's opt-out add-on.
Children
Labahan is meant for businesses and is not directed at children.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and change the date above. Important changes will be announced in the app.
